The Other Woman by Sandie Jones book review

A deliciously disturbing, compulsively readable debut domestic suspense–prepare to meet The Other Woman: there’s nothing she won’t do to keep you away from her son …

Emily thinks Adam’s perfect; the man she thought she’d never meet.

But lurking in the shadows is a rival; a woman who shares a deep bond with the man she loves.

Emily chose Adam, but she didn’t choose his mother Pammie. There’s nothing a mother wouldn’t do for her son, and now Emily is about to find out just how far Pammie will go to get what she wants: Emily gone forever.

The Other Woman is an addictive, fast-paced psychological thriller about the destructive relationship between Emily, her boyfriend Adam, and his manipulative mother Pammie.

The Other Woman by Sandie Jones book review

Emily is a successful woman with great friends just going about her life and one day she meets Adam he’s perfect and handsome. They fall in love everything is going great until she meets his mother, Pammy.  Pammy doesn’t like Emily and she stops at nothing to break them apart even lying and send his brother to seduce her if needs be.

I really enjoyed this one, the writing was sharp and well written. The characters were well developed and Emily is likable and relatable. Pammy os nuts and snappy. There are a few moments in the book that are funny and others that are sexy. It is in a way a sexy thriller nothing too explicit I mean it was wow. It has to be one of the books I’ve read this year. The plot twist, in the end, is well done. Highly recommended if you are looking for something to read by the beach. Get it here.
